Crocodiles hide below the surface, so they often point to a danger or a deception that is only partly visible. A calm, still crocodile warns that something may look harmless on the surface while hiding real risk beneath. Being pursued by a crocodile suggests a hidden threat or a buried conflict rising. A crocodile shedding tears, in the old folk sense, flags a person or situation whose sympathy is not genuine. This dream asks you to look under the surface before you lower your guard.
